"To show me the sea. To show me myself. And never, ever to look back."
(Paulsen P.82)
I like this paragraph because it shows the feeling when the author travels with his boat. They sail many places in the wild ocean that are many creatures live in. The boat that is like his close friends brings him to discover the sea that the author has never seen and to experience the caprice ocean which seems peaceful but it is changable. Especially, "And never, ever to look back" means there are a lot of things that can be found and be experienced aftertime, so we don't need care about the past too much. It is the same idea in people's lives because we don't know what will happen to us, who we will meet, who we will talk, and what we will do next day. Everyday is difference and looking everthing in front of us because there are many things waiting us to know.
